PamperHer Crew is a volunteer-led initiative founded by Dawn Williams to serve women in crisis on the Gold Coast, particularly those experiencing homelessness or living in refuges.
The initiative offers pampering experiences, personal care packs, and emotional support, inspired by the biblical act of foot washing (John 13:12–17) to restore dignity, hope, and the tangible love of God.
Out purpose is to uplift women through gentle, trauma-informed care such as foot massages, grooming services, and personal hygiene essentials. The initiative aims to be both practical and deeply spiritual, reminding women they are seen, loved, and valued.
1–3 events per year, aligned with:
March – International Women's Day
May – Domestic Violence Awareness & (optional) Mother's Day
Oct–Nov – Fresh Start Pamper
Volunteers needed:
Foot washers/massage therapists
Beauticians/hairdressers
Pamper pack teams
Hospitality and setup crew
Worshipers and optional photographers
Glow Cares runs the Gold Coast chapter of Rahab Ministry.

Volunteer at Set Free Care – Make a Difference!
Set Free Care in Southport is looking for passionate volunteers to help serve the local community. Every Tuesday and Thursday, they provide a hot lunch for the homeless and those in need.

Each week during school term, we serve breakfast and bring encouragement to students at Hillcrest, Kings, Robina, and Varsity.
Whether you’re flipping pancakes, setting up, chatting with students, or praying over the school - every role helps create a moment that matters.

Join us for a relaxed and creative afternoon inspired by the popular “paint & sip” format - minus the alcohol! We’ll provide everything you need: easels, canvases, acrylic paints, brushes, palettes, and more. Enjoy non-alcoholic drinks and nibbles as you create, connect, and unwind in a fun and welcoming environment.
A guest artist will guide us with a themed painting idea, helping spark your creativity.
Inspiring background music and conversation starters on each table will help break the ice and get people talking.

We are looking at starting a community garden — a space to dig in the soil, grow fresh produce, and enjoy the fun of gardening together. Whether you're an experienced green thumb or just starting out, everyone is welcome!
You are welcome to come join our team as we develop a plan to make it happen.
Our vision is simple: grow together, share together, and bless our community. The harvest from our garden will not only feed us but also be shared with those in need.
Come be part of something life-giving — a place of connection, learning, and growth for the whole community.
We're looking to create a group to bring joy and support to women in local shelters who are expecting. Our goal is to make them feel loved, valued, and celebrated during pregnancy.
If this idea speaks to your heart, we'd love to hear from you as we develop a plan and strategy together.
A group of us would love you to join our recycling efforts to sopport Hearts of Purple.
A GC charity dedicated to supporting high-risk victims of domestic violence. They provide immediate assistance, including financial aid, emergency accommodation, food, clothing, and security measures like wearable duress alarm watches and home security systems.
A notable initiative is their Purple Bin Program, which encourages the community to collect recyclable containers. These bins are placed at homes, businesses, and events across the Gold Coast. The 10-cent refunds from each container are used to fund safety devices and support services for domestic violence victims.
This initiative not only raises funds but also fosters community awareness and engagement in combating domestic violence.
Let our group know as we can help collect or arrange bins for you!
Indigenous Literacy Day (ILD) raises awareness of literacy challenges in remote communities, providing resources like First Language books, and connecting children to their heritage through reading.
Donate new and loved children's books, gospel books and children's bibles and devotions would help us share the Gospel throughout First Nation schools and Early Learning Centres.
