As a group we are wanting to share the love and joy of Jesus with residents in local nursing homes.
Our teams will visit different locations, once a month, offering music and companionship to those who may appreciate a friendly face and listening ear.
We aim to create multiple teams so we can reach as many residents as possible, spreading warmth and positivity throughout our community.
Morning visits for 1-2hrs.
Upcoming dates and locations to be advised.
PamperHer Crew is a volunteer-led initiative founded by Dawn Williams to serve women in crisis on the Gold Coast, particularly those experiencing homelessness or living in refuges.
The initiative offers pampering experiences, personal care packs, and emotional support, inspired by the biblical act of foot washing (John 13:12–17) to restore dignity, hope, and the tangible love of God.
Out purpose is to uplift women through gentle, trauma-informed care such as foot massages, grooming services, and personal hygiene essentials. The initiative aims to be both practical and deeply spiritual, reminding women they are seen, loved, and valued.
1–3 events per year, aligned with:
March – International Women's Day
May – Domestic Violence Awareness & (optional) Mother's Day
Oct–Nov – Fresh Start Pamper
Volunteers needed:
Foot washers/massage therapists
Beauticians/hairdressers
Pamper pack teams
Hospitality and setup crew
Worshipers and optional photographers

We offer a thoughtful, personal gift to initiate conversations and provide a listening ear.
Upcoming dates:

Volunteer at Set Free Care – Make a Difference!
Set Free Care in Southport is looking for passionate volunteers to help serve the local community. Every Tuesday and Thursday, they provide a hot lunch for the homeless and those in need.
This is an opportunity to volunteer and help with cooking, serving meals, setting up, cleaning up, and even just sitting and connecting with guests. Whether someone has a few hours or the whole day, their time can bring hope and dignity to others.
Each week during school term, we serve breakfast and bring encouragement to students at Hillcrest, Kings, Robina, and Varsity.
Whether you’re flipping pancakes, setting up, chatting with students, or praying over the school - every role helps create a moment that matters.
Call time is 7:15am, and a valid Blue Card is required.
Responding to community need and request, based on your capacity and capabilities through being part of a communication thread that will inform the group of the need.
e.g. Everything from making the elderly a meal, clean up after a natural disaster, and pastoral care.
We're looking to create a group to bring joy and support to women in local shelters who are expecting. Our goal is to make them feel loved, valued, and celebrated during pregnancy.
If this idea speaks to your heart, we'd love to hear from you as we develop a plan and strategy together.
